DIY: 'Be Mine' Chocolate Box

Remember those pastel-coloured 'Love Note' solid sherbet, heart lollies that you used to buy from the school canteen or retro lolly shop? Well, inspired by those sweets I created this 'Be Mine' chocolate box. A romantic, yummy filled gift for a friend or loved one to enjoy, this Valentines Day!

Let's make Onigiri!

Konichiwa! Today I'm going to share with you how to make Japanese onigiri!(a rice ball like sandwich) Yummy!
Super easy to make, healthy and great for packing in your lunch bag/bento for work/school or to enjoy on a picnic.

Ok. Let's get started.

Bday

Eeeep! I turned 29 on Saturday. On the same day that I get a little older, the Aussies are also celebrating Australia Day! It becomes a long weekend here - score! So it makes it a perfect time to catch up with friends, have a lil chill out time, watch movies, read books and craft. I enjoy baking so I made this vanilla tea cake - with sprinkles off course and crafted a tissue paper tassel garland topper. Hope you are all enjoying your weekend and have a fab week ahead.

Easter Treat Gift Bag Making

I enjoyed making treat gift bags for family and friends during the Easter break. Hope you all enjoy these little snaps. Using pretty papers, J-book digital pix and magazine cut-outs I made collage bunny themed gift tags. The multi coloured pom poms were also handmade. I also had fun experimenting with some new mt tapes making some paper ribbon gift bag ties.

Easter-gram

It was announced last week that Instagram had been released for Android phone users! Yay! I downloaded it as soon as I heard and have been addicted to it ever since. I've been snapping away around the house and recording my Easter adventures.
You can find me on Instagram at 'JennaTempleton'. I would love to know who else is on Instagram, so feel free to leave your user names in the comments.
Happy Easter and look forward to seeing your Happy Snaps!

Crafty Celebrations

It is both my mum's and hubby's birthday this week, so I have been busy making and baking crafty celebrations!
First I baked some vanilla & chocolate cupcakes with sprinkles and made some mt tape bunting flags. Found some kawaii pink polka dot patty cases to put the cupcakes in too. It went down as a real treat with the family, the confetti on the high tea stand made it that extra bit party special too!
