We Craft This City: Object Gallery
Attended a 'Zine Workshop' at the Object Gallery 'We Craft this City' Exhibition, for Sydney's Art & About celebrations.
Lisa from Lox+Savvy supplied us with different papers, floral & patterned contact from Japan, sticker felt, found objects and beautiful DIY origami papercraft tissue flowers!
One of the things I love about crafty workshops is you can meet some really nice & creative people. I sat near and made friends with the beautiful Madalene- Just loved her pop-up carnival bunting flag creation!
I also worked on a few more pages of my "La La" zine, creating a jewellery fashion page with found objects & contact from Japan.
As well as giving away free Frankie mags, at Craft This City, you could also by zines from Dear Plastic artist Yumi Takahashi.
There were so many yummy treats to eat at the workshop, like these kawaii icing cookies- they should be on the pages of Frankie!
