MCA Zine Fair 2012
It was one of my favourite days of the year today - the Sydney MCA 2012 zine fair! Here are some of my favourites from the day.
I just loved all the Japanese themed mini zines on Tara's table! How adorable is the 'Kewpie the superhero' accordion instagram zine? Mine came in a little sewed envelope with instagram photographs. I also purchased her '30 cool things about my trip to Japan' and 'iPhoneography' instagram guide. I think it's pretty obvious why I loved Tara's table!
Every year there comes a special time when I look forward to building my 'Spoonful' zine collection. It really is a delightful happiness companion - and so is it's beautiful creator, Thea. Don't you just love her paper spoon garland?
Burrow's quirky and yummy table display.
The colourful and fun illustrated works of the stunning Mechelle B.
One of Sydney's most well known zine makers is Vanessa Berry. I was lucky enough to get a copy of her new zine 'Biblioburbia' before it sold out - a little guide to Sydney's libraries. I also picked up her Disposable Camera 'Melbourne issue'.
Lee Tran launched her new Speak-easy #13 zine today and it is all about Japan! Oh my! I know I am in for a treat!
