2014 MCA Zine Fair
Hiya! Today I am sharing a few snaps (sorry about the images did not take my SLR camera on the day) of my stall at the Sydney Museum of Contemporary Art Zine Fair that was held last Sunday, May 25th. What an amazing day it was!! A huge thumbs up to the MCA crew for hosting such an amazing event. BIG thank you to those who popped by and said hi at my stall or who bought one of my zines! Hope you are all enjoying them. Also met and made a few new lovely pals who were fellow zine stall holders.
This has been a big highlight of my year (well the time I patted a baby quokka is right up there too). There were so many lovely people who came through the zine fair doors - many thanks for your sweet and supportive compliments about my work.
Before the big day, I also very much enjoyed designing the look and layout of my stall, making all the little zine fixtures and price signs. Can you spot the paper Harajuku Takeshita-Dori entrance?
On the day I launched my 'Happy Mail Day' zine! More photos of this to come soon and I will be adding copies for sale in my online shop this week!! The 'My Life In Biscuits' zine did sell out on the day eeep! so looking at re-prints. I was also selling mock postage stamp stickers, 'Japan in a Collection', 'Little book of mt Masking tape' zines on the day too, along with mini Kawaii Pop photobook and 'Pop Goes your Mail' letter art kits.
Having a stall at the MCA zine fair has been and honour and an amazing opportunity! Looking forward to sharing more of my works with you all again soon.
