New York, New York!
I had an amazing time in NYC during the 'happy holidays' at Christmas. Now that I have settled back in at home I can start sharing some of my winter wonderland adventures. Here is a little instagram snapshot of my travels around NYC.
New York was everything I thought it would be and more! Many great times were spent in cute boutiques, stationery stores, bookshops and eating wonderful food at cosy cafes like this one in Tribeca called Kitchenette. Isn't it amazing? The outside was covered in polka dots and even the inside tables were too. I enjoyed my hot coco and warm breakfast with a 'biscuit'(their term for a toast scone)while I admired their yummy baked goods, pink kawaii Christmas tree and candy cane Christmas lights - it was such a delight.
Oh yes and I did see some locations from the movies; Home Alone, You've Got Mail and Serendipity! Eeeep!
Mittens were a must purchase to keep little hands warm |
A sweet decorated bike in Greenwich |
A view of The Plaza Hotel from Central Park - My fave Home Alone 2 inspired snap! |
Stunning Brooklyn brownstones - everyone beautifully decorates their stoops |
It's snowing! So excited to see snowflakes for first time! |
The biggest Christmas tree in NYC at the Rockefeller Center. |
I just had to purchase an 'ugly Christmas sweater' to wear on Christmas! This baby is coming out in July! |
Went to the Serendipity 3 Cafe from the movie of the same name! |
OMG my hubby and I just loved Shake Shack and ate it a few times. |
Oh my I loved this stationery store. more pics to come of inside! |
I spent an hour or more in this Greenwich stamp and paper craft store and the owners were lovely to chat too! |
A cosy Williamsburg bookstore that sells independent press. |
A store filled with ribbons - oh my. This isn't even a 1/4 of the polka dot section! |
Beautiful Bloomingdale's Christmas decorations. |
Yay! Japanese key-piece fashion store Uniqlo was in NYC! |
Meow-amazing cat coat hangers in fave fashion store Urban Outfitters! |
