Daiso - The shop of cute!!

It felt like I was back in Japan today! I went shopping at Chatswood (a town in NSW, Australia) which is just like a mini Tokyo. They have many Asian supermarkets, restaurants, bakeries (Breadtop and 85%) and a Mother crepes store (like theone in Ikebukuro, Tokyo) and Yen store Daiso! Eeep!
I spent hours shopping at Daiso!!! yes just like the  one in Harajuku - I was immersed in cute zakka and crafty products...oh the packaging! I can't wait to start using and making things with my bundle of kawaii goodies!
Cleaning has never been so fun! Dusting with an apple, deodorizing the room with pretty packaging and bathing with Kawaii critter soap.

These are from the Miracle supermarket next door. Poko-chan is the male friend of Japanese patisserie mascot Peko-chan.

I was planning on posting about my DIY Easter gifts today, but I got a little carried away with my hoard of new treats!

    Daiso is wonderful. Back in Sydney my parents lived so close to Chatswood, the yum cha there is fantastic!

    dollar stores are fabulous! I love love love going to Daiso, and I always end up with cute but unnecessary buys! XD

    daiso is the best! such a walk down memory lane too! i remember walking around the levels of the harajuku daiso too and the huge one in vancouver! we were at the harajuku daiso for ages...until it closed! :p

      Hi Emmie, Yes there is one in Chatswood! I was super excited when I found out we had one! I hope to go to the Melbourne one too someday very soon :) The polka dot background is a table cloth x
