Hello! The summer always brings a fresh feeling of newness with it, which leads to a need to clean and re-organize.

I put some of this energy into giving the blog a bit of a makeover, I just felt it needed a little something, something - a touch of sparkle.I have designed a new background, buttons and updated my labels, making it easier for you to look around... I hope!

One of my good friends just loves cute character Pusheen the cat.

So for her birthday I handmade her a little Pusheen kit that includes a felt plushie decoration, mini notebooks and stickers.

I just love making fun themed kits like this.

A month back I was interviewed by my local city paper on Kawaii businesses sweeping OZ. It featured in all the Aussie papers around the nation, running in the Sydney Morning Herald, Canberra Times, Brisbane Times, WA Today and The Age Melbourne in the small business section.

Eeep!I was so excited to find out that French artist Isabelle Boinot is a featured artist in her very own Japanese Paumes book!

Naturally I quickly snapped up a copy. Again this latest book from Japanese publishers Paumes is a visual feast. Isabelle gives us a glimpse into her home studio sharing with us cute ways to organise paper items - souvenirs and mementos, DIY's for picnic Furoshiki's, gift wrapping and more. Wouldn't it be a dream to have your very own Paumes book?
